I was taking photos long before I realised the power of post-processing – the digital darkroom that really gets the most out of my images.
As a result, some of my earlier images, which I am really very proud of, were not processed very well if at all. I’ve finally got around to fixing one detail of one of my favourite images:
Notice the problem? How distracting are those branches in the top left corner! Its such a simple fix in Lightroom, and what a difference it makes!
The old guard slowly making his way down the train, just starting to be obscured by the steam, almost like the memories of the steam era itself…
