Something of an oxymoron, for sure, but there is a bank holiday approaching and I am going walkabout in the Peak District!
I know it’s going to be busy – the campsite was fully booked, so there will be families and playing children and all-sorts. Happily though, the campsite has a little corner, tucked away, for people like me who arrive on foot to quietly hide from the bustle and noise. My main aim for the trip is sunset photography, so I will be heading up into the hills as the majority of people are heading down.
I cannot wait for the peace that a quiet few days out in the hills will bring me. But goodness me I have so much to do before then, it really does feel like it’s galloping up!
